Abstract
The article examines the importance of the graphic design of music album covers as a key element in the formation of the identity of an artist or group, as well as the representation of a genre of music. The modern variety of musical trends and the challenge faced by the designer in preserving the uniqueness and recognizability of the covers of various genres are also highlighted.
